Endless crust, sunny skies and longer days – this time of the season brings some of the best skiing to be had. So don’t put away your skis just because the World Cup is over!

Crust skiing 101
Get up, get out and get your crust! This is for the early birds. Crust skiing is nature’s reward for enduring the dark and cold. These crisp spring mornings open up vast new terrain beyond the confinement of the groomed track. The open meadows, the flats and the hills are yours to explore.

But the crust is gone once the sun gets her go at it, so make sure you set your alarm and have your skis ready to go.
